World’s Most - Tall Shadows

Last year, I wrote about an amazing single “High & Low” by a band called Younger Youth.  Turns out the project fell apart, but songwriter Matthew Müller continues making music from his Pasadena home base. He’s the kind of guy who can take a few simple chords, slap them together in a bouquet of pop grace that makes for an elegant magic.

Pasadena’s World’s Most is the project of Matthew Müller (formerly of indie-pop outfit Younger Youth)and his track “Tall Shadows” is just another one of the most catchy things we’ve heard this week. It’s all guitar riffs and ultra catchy vocal melodies that drive this thing, a refreshingly simple effort with an incredibly inspired result. Feel free to jam to this day-brightener all day and grab it down below or over at his Bandcamp alongside b-side “Honey Eyed”.
